Khan’s key strategies:

  • By creating an alliance with councils, housing associations, developers and businesses.
  • By building on land currently owned by the Mayor and bidding on other public sector land.
  • By bringing the case for landlord licensing schemes to government.
How well these initiatives are applied remains to be seen, but it is set to be a very exciting four years for Londoners and the city’s property market.
